Next.js Development Agency

Next.js is the framework behind many of the fastest sites on the web, and it is what pixiilab.com itself runs on. Pixiilab designs and builds Next.js websites and web applications for startups and growing businesses that need pages that load instantly, rank well and can grow into real products.

We pair Next.js with a headless CMS, TypeScript, automated tests and hosting on Vercel, AWS or Google Cloud, so your team gets a site that is quick to edit, cheap to run and easy for any React developer to maintain.

  • React
  • React Native

Problems we solve

Problems Next.js solves for business websites

If you have typed any of these into Google, you are in the right place.

“wordpress vs next.js”

WordPress is slow and keeps breaking

A Next.js rebuild with a headless CMS: no plugins to patch, pages pre-rendered and fast, content still easy to edit.

“is next.js good for seo”

A JavaScript site Google can't read

Server and static rendering give search engines complete pages and visitors instant content.

“migrate wordpress to next.js”

Migrating without losing URLs

Content moved, redirects mapped and metadata carried over, exactly as we did for this site.

“headless cms for marketing site”

Marketing blocked by developers

Sanity, Contentful or markdown with preview mode, so editors publish without a deploy.

“website that can become a web app”

Site and app on two separate stacks

One codebase that starts as a marketing site and grows into an authenticated application.

Next.js Development

What's included

Every engagement is scoped to your goals — here's where we typically start.

Marketing sites

Statically rendered pages that score on Core Web Vitals and rank.

Headless CMS

Sanity, Contentful or markdown content with preview and publish flows.

Web applications

Authenticated apps, dashboards and portals with server-side rendering.

Migrations

WordPress, Gatsby or Create React App moved to Next.js without losing URLs.

Why we build on Next.js

Static and server rendering mean search engines see complete pages and visitors see content immediately, which is exactly what Core Web Vitals reward. The same codebase can start as a marketing site and grow into an authenticated application without a rebuild.

The ecosystem is mature and widely used, so you are never locked in to us: React and Next.js developers are easy to find, and the hosting, CMS and payment integrations are all standard.

FAQ

Next.js Development questions, answered

Is Next.js better than WordPress for a business website?

For sites where speed, security and custom functionality matter, usually yes. WordPress remains a good choice when a non-technical team needs a very familiar editor and a large plugin ecosystem. We recommend based on who will run the site and what it needs to do.

Which CMS do you use with Next.js?

Sanity or Contentful for most teams, markdown in the repository for small sites, and WordPress as a headless backend when a team wants to keep its existing editor.

Can you migrate our existing site to Next.js?

Yes. We rebuild the pages, move the content and redirect every old URL so rankings carry over. This site was migrated from WordPress the same way.

Do you host the site?

By default we deploy to Vercel under your own account, so you own the hosting and get preview deployments for every change. If your stack lives on AWS, Google Cloud or a VPS, we deploy there instead.

Can a Next.js site become a web app later?

Yes. Authentication, dashboards and database-backed features can be added to the same codebase, which is one of the main reasons we recommend it for growing companies.
