Web Design and Development That Loads Fast, Ranks and Converts

Your website is your hardest-working salesperson — if it loads fast, explains you clearly and makes the next step obvious. Pixiilab designs and builds websites for startups, service businesses and e-commerce brands that do exactly that.

We build on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or a custom Next.js stack depending on what your team needs to run it, with performance, accessibility and SEO built in from the first commit.

Problems we solve

Problems a good website fixes

If you have typed any of these into Google, you are in the right place.

“why is my website not getting leads”

Traffic arrives, nobody enquires

We rebuild the key pages around one clear next step, tighten the messaging and put proof and a short form where visitors actually look, so traffic turns into enquiries.

“why is my website so slow”

Slow pages, especially on mobile

Lean builds, optimised images and code, and hosting tuned for Core Web Vitals, so pages feel instant on a phone and Google rewards it.

“website looks outdated”

The site no longer matches the business

A design that reflects what you sell today, with a structure that grows as you add services, locations or products.

“how to edit my website myself”

Every change needs a developer

A CMS set up for your content, with training, so your team updates pages, posts and offers without waiting on anyone.

“website not showing up on google”

Invisible in search

Technical SEO built in: clean structure, metadata, schema, sitemaps and fast pages, plus a content plan for the searches that matter.

Website Design & Development

What's included

Every engagement is scoped to your goals — here's where we typically start.

Marketing sites

Design-led sites that load fast and tell your story.

E-commerce

Shopify and headless storefronts tuned for checkout.

CMS builds

WordPress, Webflow, or headless so your team can edit with ease.

Performance & accessibility

Core Web Vitals and WCAG baked in, not bolted on.

Built for speed, search and the people who edit it

A slow site loses visitors before they see your offer, and Google notices. We design lean, ship optimised images and code, and test against Core Web Vitals so pages feel instant on a phone.

We also build for whoever maintains the site after launch: a CMS your team can update without a developer, clean structure for SEO, and documentation so nothing depends on us.

What you get

  • WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or Next.js build
  • Editable CMS and team training

FAQ

Website Design & Development questions, answered

Which platform should my website be built on?

It depends on who will run it and what it needs to do. Shopify is usually best for stores, WordPress or Webflow for content-heavy marketing sites, and a custom Next.js build when performance or integrations matter most. We'll recommend one in your consultation.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes. Every site comes with a CMS set up for your content, and we walk your team through it at launch.

Will redesigning my site hurt my Google rankings?

Not if the migration is handled properly. We map every old URL to its new home with 301 redirects and carry over titles, descriptions and content, so rankings are protected.

Do you write the website copy?

We can. We offer conversion and SEO copywriting, or we'll work with your existing copy and tighten it to fit the design.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes — ongoing maintenance, updates and improvement work are available after launch.
